We are seeking a (Senior) Manager (f/m/d) Legal & Business Affairs to join the Global Digital Commercial Licensing team in our Berlin office to help us to define the future of publishing and the utilization of sound recordings in the digital world! In this role, you will coordinate and assist license negotiations for BMG’s recordings and musical compositions with global digital platforms.

Your Tasks
  • Prepare and support negotiations with global digital platforms
  • Draft and negotiate side letters and standard license agreements
  • Research relevant topics (e.g. copyright legislation, Web3.0 opportunities) and provide guidance to the business
  • Manage internal processes for information sharing and obtaining approvals
Your Skillset & Your Mindset

Your Skillset

You have successfully completed a law degree and have already gained experience working as an attorney for law firm or in-house Experience or studies in music, entertainment, IP, licensing or tech is preferred You are proficient in MS Office English - spoken as well as written - is easy for you to master. Fluency in other languages is more than welcome!

Your Mindset

You are highly organized and self-starter, with a high degree of quality awareness and an eye for detail As an excellent communicator, you are very capable of working across different territories and with diverse stakeholders You are able to work independently but also to stay in sync with the rest of the team Last but not least, you have a great passion for music!
