First Press Start Games Playable at gamescom
Seventeen Press Start Scholarship (start-up grant) recipients will be showcasing their games at gamescom. These can be found at the Press Start stand in the Indie Arena Booth, the Home of Indies, and the Business Area.
Eight games developed by recipients of the Press Start Scholarship can be played at several stands at gamescom 2025. The main point of contact is the official 'Press Start' stand in the Indie Arena Booth (Hall 10.2, F010g-E019), where three scholarship-funded projects will be presented. These are Cosmo Drill from Happy Hippo, Hieronymus from Rhenus Vina Musica, and Seaward from The Roof Interactive. Right next door at the Hessen stand in the Indie Arena Booth is Garden Ink from Kranich Games. Rootbound, from Brainlag Games, can be found in the Home of Indies (Hall 10.2, E010gD011g). Trade visitors can also try out the Kiosk Simulator from Neptun Interactive at the Film und Medienstiftung NRW stand in the business area (Hall 4.1, A061/B070). Another game featured in the trade visitor area is Portal to the Cosmobeat from 4bpm at the Hessen joint booth (Hall 4.1, D060g). Bot Slash Bot by Traveller's Box will be exhibited at both the Raw Talent joint stand in the entertainment area (Hall 10.2, D042g–D044g) and the Saxony stand in the business area (Hall 4.1, A051g/B060g).
